Abstracts

Extant in manuscripts, paintings and sculptures, Buddhist narratives have played an essential role in the dissemination of Buddhism along the Silk Road, from India to East Asia. Based on case studies from India, Central Asia and China, the workshop aims to unravel the dynamic interplay of Buddhist textual and visual narratives.

Please note that on the 23rd and the 24th of November, lectures will take place at the Veranstaltungszentrum, Room 3. On the 25th of November, they will take place in SH, Room 187.
