In his presentation Jun'ichi Isomae will look at concepts like post-secularism (Talal Asad), plurality and exclusion (Hannah Arendt), agonistic democracy (Chantal Mouffle), and critical regionalism (Gayatri Spivak) through the lens of the suffering at Fukushima and its handling in Japanese society.
