Otto Kallscheuer studied philosophy, sociology and history in Bonn, Bochum and Berlin and finished his Ph.D. in Frankfurt. Otto Kallscheuer hold numerous international research fellowships, among other universities in Princeton, NJ (Institute for Advanced Study), in Vienna, Münster and Basel; he has taught political science and political philosophy in Italy, Germany and Switzerland; e.g. in Berlin (Freie Universität), Naples and Rome (University Roma 3), currently at Sassari (Sardinia, Italy).
Otto Kallscheuer’s fields of interest include philosophy of religion in connection with political norms and institutions, among others the development of the Christian West related to European history and present European Union. During his fellowship with us he will concentrate on monotheism and globalization in relation to a theory of religious expansion and conflict.
